Founded in 1913 by the first-generation Chojuro Fujii in Yorishima Town, Okayama Prefecture, Kamikokoro Shuzou has remained dedicated to pursuing the delicious umami flavor of rice.Now under the leadership of the fifth-generation Nobuhiko Fujii, the brewery continues to honor the traditional taste of Kamikokoro while embracing new techniques to explore the untapped potential of rice as it embarks on creating the next 100 years of its history.As sake makers, we are manufacturers, but in everyday life, we are consumers.
