Yamano Shuzou brewery

Yamano Shuzou

Osaka, KinkiFounded 1954

Located in the Katano region, where Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara meet, our brewery has been passed down through generations since the late Edo period. As a small-scale brewery producing around 500 koku annually, approximately 90% of our production consists of premium sake (Tokutei Meisho-shu), with 40% of that being undiluted sake (genshu), reflecting our strong focus on genshu.Using the abundant spring water from the Ikoma mountain range and high-quality sake rice, we work with outstanding teamwork to ensure the best quality in every step of the process—from brewing to storage, bottling, product management, and shipping—so that we deliver sake in its optimal condition to our customers.
