Tsuchiya Shuzouten
Founded in 1900 (Meiji 33). Located in Shinshu Saku, the brewery uses the underground water of the Chikuma River and brews sake by hand. In particular, the ginjo sake, which was released ahead of others in the prefecture in the 1960s (Showa 40s), continues to inherit traditional brewing methods. In recent years, the brewery has also gained popularity with its "Akane Sasu," a sake made from rice cultivated without relying on pesticides in the city of Saku.
