Fushimi, Kyoto, where our Fushimi factory is located, is the birthplace of Takara Shuzo and has been called "Fushimizu" since ancient times, a sake brewing area in Kyoto with good quality underground water suitable for sake brewing. Today, Takara Shuzo's Fushimi factory has two locations, one in the east and the other in the west.The plant produces sake, mirin, and chu-hai, and has 12 different bottling lines, making it Takara Shuzo's main plant for supplying products to the western Japan region, we are further strengthening our commitment to safety and security in response to diversifying customer needs. Brewery tours and tastings are not available.
