Founded in 1865, the company suspended home brewing in 1980 and restarted in 2018.It brews three brands,"Sakata Nishiki", "Setoichi", and "Ashigarigo", in an area where water from Mt. Tanzawa and Mt. Fuji.It has won many awards at national and international competitions and is ranked 9th in the 2022 World Sake Breweries Ranking. Open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.Visitors can enjoy a tasting for 500 yen per glass with a coin-operated server while viewing the Japanese garden.Tours of the brewery are available by reservation for 1,800 yen per person.
