Sekiya Jouzou
Founded in 1864, this sake brewery is located in the Okumikawa region of Aichi Prefecture. The brewery is particular about the rice used in its sake, and all rice is milled in-house. They also cultivate their own sake rice. Additionally, the brewery manufactures its own alcohol for additives from the sake lees, making full use of raw materials and focusing on sustainability and environmental considerations. The brewery also produces its own shochu and liqueurs made from locally grown fruits. In addition to the main brewery, there is the "Houraisen Ginjo Kobo," where custom-made sake is produced, and the "Houraisen Sake Labo," where visitors can experience sake brewing.
