Sakuragawa Shuzou
Founded in 1706. Oguni's sake rice is grown in an area rich in nature. Oguni Town is one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan, with snowfall ranging from 3 meters in the center of town to 5 meters in the mountains in winter.Because of this, Oguni Town has abundant water resources, and sake rice grown in the melted snow at the foot of the Iide Mountains has a different taste. Please try "Oguni Sakuragawa" made with sake rice grown with mineral-rich water. After registering at the sake brewery cafe "Kamosuk", visitors can watch a video on how sake is made and then take a guided tour of the brewery at the adjacent Sakuragawa Sake Brewery. This tour requires a reservation on the web at least 5 working days in advance.
