Ryouzeki Shuzou
Founded in 1874 (Meiji 7), our brewery pioneered the "low-temperature long-term brewing method," a technique we shared openly with other brewers. This innovation laid the foundation for sake brewing in Tohoku, a region known for its cold climate. Our main house and four storehouses have been recognized as the first Registered Tangible Cultural Properties in Akita Prefecture. Guided by the philosophy of Wajo Ryoshu—"Good sake is born from harmony among people, and it fosters harmony in return"—we continue to embrace traditional techniques while incorporating new ideas and methods. With a commitment to crafting sake that truly delights those who drink it, we remain dedicated to innovation and excellence.
