Rokka Shuzou
Founded in 1719 in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, our brewery celebrated its 300th anniversary in June 2023. To pursue higher-quality water and an ideal brewing environment, we relocated our brewery from the city center to the foothills of Mt. Iwaki, also known as "Tsugaru Fuji."We have launched a new brand, Torai, crafted to reflect the unique terroir of Tsugaru, using primarily sake rice grown in Aomori Prefecture. By focusing on quality through meticulous temperature control, small-batch brewing, and year-round production across three seasons, we ensure our products remain consistently fresh and of the highest quality. At the on-site direct sales shop, a tasting server is available with 6 types of sake for tasting (free of charge). You can also watch a monitor displaying the brewery's activities.Business Hours:10:00 AM – 3:00 PMClosed on:Sundays and public holidays (may change depending on the season, so please inquire in advance)Brewery tours are available for a fee and require advance reservation.
