Founded in 1893 as a distillery specializing in authentic shochu, we have focused primarily on barley-based shochu due to the Chikugo Plain's status as a major barley production area.We are committed to exploring the full potential of barley, exemplified by our Roasted Barley Shochu, crafted with roasted barley to create a distinctive flavor profile.Additionally, with a desire to share the art of authentic shochu with the world as part of the Japan Craft Spirits movement, we continuously strive to expand our expertise across various categories of distilled spirits.
