Masumi was founded in 1662. In Shinshu Suwa, which is blessed with clear water and a cool climate, we continue to brew sake with the name of "Masumi no Kagami", a treasure of Suwa Taisha. In addition to winning outstanding prizes at competitions, it has also made a name for itself as the birthplace of the excellent sake yeast "Association No. 7", which is still used by the majority of sake breweries nationwide.
