Kyouhime Shuzou

Founded in 1918 as Okamoto Sake Brewing Limited Partnership.In 1974 (Showa 49), the company was founded as Sekai Taka Sake Brewery Co.In 1997, in honor of the 1,200th anniversary of the Heian Capital, the company name was changed to Kyohime Sake Brewery, taking the "Kyo" of Heian-kyo and the "Hime" of the princess of the deep-viewed window.We aim to be a ginjo brewery that is rooted in the area of Fushimi, Kyoto, and carefully nurtured. Brewery tours and tastings are not available.
