Iwate Meijou
Our brewery, established in 1858, is located in Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture.Nearby are popular tourist destinations such as the UNESCO World Heritage site, Chuson-ji Konjikido (Golden Hall), and Fujiwara no Sato, a frequently used filming location for historical dramas. Our sake-making philosophy centers on using only Iwate-grown rice. For our premium sake, we source rice through exclusive contracts with farmers in Oshu City, as well as the neighboring towns of Kanegasaki and Hiraizumi.
