Our brewery was founded in 1875 by Genzo, known as a master swordsman, on the banks of the Chikugo River, the largest river in Kyushu. Genzo developed innovative brewing methods and made significant contributions to sake production in Fukuoka Prefecture.Building on this tradition, we continue to honor our heritage while constantly challenging ourselves to create new and exciting sake. Our goal is to craft products that deliver fresh surprises and emotional resonance for our customers.We have developed unique and distinctive products using proprietary techniques, such as sake brewed with black koji and Japan’s first jelly-like plum wine.
