Founded in 1872, the company began shochu making in 1909.Today, we have production facilities in Kagoshima, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures, and our sake brewing takes full advantage of the local climates.In Kagoshima Prefecture, Tsunuki Distillery and Yakushima Densetsu Kura offer tours of their sake brewing facilities, as well as tastings and sales. Business Hours:Tsunuki Distillery: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PMYakushima Denshogura: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM)Free admission at both locations; temporary closures may occur.
