Fukiage Shouchuu
Founded in 1896, this shochu distillery has over 125 years of history and 13 employees. We make shochu from a wide variety of shochu making ingredients such as "Komatsu Tatewaki (sweet potato shochu)", "Kaikouzu", "Anno Imo" , as well as barley, rice, and corn. Our representative brand "Komatsu Tatewaki" is named after "Komatsu Tatewaki, a retainer of the Satsuma Clan", who is an ancestor of our company's owner. We will continue to devote ourselves to shochu making in order to live up to the name of "Komatsu Tatewaki", who contributed to the Meiji Restoration. We do not accept factory tours or tastings, but we do sell our products to the public at our factory (sales office).
