Since its founding, Dewazakura Shuzou has remained committed to crafting sake by hand, relying on the five senses of its brewers. Known as a pioneer in the sake industry, Dewazakura was among the first to introduce ginjo sake to the market, at a time when it was not yet commercially available in Japan.The brewery also led the way in exporting sake, becoming one of the first to expand internationally.
