Den-en Shuzou
Since founded in 1890, this sake brewery has continued to create new values, including Japan's first barley shochu stored in casks, "music brewing" to promote fermentation and maturation, and long-term storage that spares no time for slow maturation. The brewery has been awarded an honorable mention in the Kagoshima Prefecture Honkaku shochu Competition for more than 40 consecutive years. The brewery is highly regarded for its technical capabilities. Representative brands are the barrel-aged barley shochu "Den-en Gold Label" and the barrel-aged sweet potato shochu "Den-en Enveresida," which has won numerous awards at domestic and international competitions since its release in 2018.
